【内容简介】

     多镜头情景喜剧。故事描述由几个30多岁的好友组成的小群体的友谊和生活——他们都认为别人活得比自己好（而且别人总想占自己的便宜）。

     James Van Der Beek扮演这些人当中的Will，一个愤世嫉俗、喜欢挖苦人的妇产科医生。当他发现妻子和自己的心理医生偷情后，再也不相信这世界上有好人。他的悲观情绪很快影响到了周围的所有人——他总是为所有事情做最坏的打算。

     Brooklyn Decker扮演这些人当中的Jules，13岁时在一家商场里被星探发现，从此成为一名模特。和Will正好相反，她思想奔放，总是往好处想，希望身边每个人都能幸福快乐。

     Rick Donald扮演其中的Lowell，是个超脱世俗的「信徒」，一生大部分时间都光着脚。
   
     Kevin Connolly扮演Will最好的朋友Bobby Lutz，也是一个妇科医生，忠于妻子和三个孩子，是一个很酷的父亲。他小时候是个书呆子，长大后成了万人迷。现在他的大部分时间都被三个孩子占用了，看到Will无忧无虑的模样不禁心生嫉妒——尤其是Will这种「老男人」竟然和25岁的性感模特打得火热，一有时间就在一起XXOO！

     Majandra Delfino扮演其中的Andi，一个长相迷人但是感情脆弱的母亲，和丈夫Bobby（Kevin Connolly）生了三个孩子，其中一个刚刚出生，另外两个是一对三岁的双胞胎。她是Jules（Brooklyn Decker）和Kate的死党。

     该剧由去年NBC试映集《The Daddy’s Girls》（最终未获得剧集预订）的原班人马打造，CBS花了独占惩罚金才得到该剧剧本。
