剧情简介

  1969年北大荒林区的一个雨夜，小火车又载来了一批来自全国各大城市的知识青年。白桦林火车站的站长杨秉奎，望着一张张稚嫩而青春洋溢的脸，预感到这批人的到来，将会给北大荒带来翻天覆地的变化。 民族资本家的女儿周萍渴望加入兵团为家争光，偷着一路跟了过来，杨秉奎感动于她的执着，替其向连长张建业求情，周萍暂时留在了七连女一班。七连的知青生活就在北大荒展开了，冲动却正义的赵天亮、柔弱却勤奋的周萍、懦弱却善良的孙敬文、娇惯却积极的徐进步、鲁莽却爽直的齐勇、还有热心积极的孙曼玲、教条主义的吴敏。朝夕相处中，因为性格的迥异和不成熟，这些年轻人在生活习惯上、思想认知上发生了很多摩擦。知青们在七连遇到的第一个大难关就是麦收。从不曾干过农活的孩子们，拿起镰刀就手忙脚乱，偏偏天公不作美，恰遇上五年难遇的大暴雨，麦收必须争分夺秒。此时，已经被任命为一班班长的赵天亮收到他哥哥赵曙光在陕北遭逢矿难的电报。心急如焚的他，不顾排长张靖严的阻拦，当夜便擅离连队，赶往赵曙光所在的陕北“坡底村”。
